Georgian Entrepreneurs’ Visit in Germany




16 Georgian graduates of the Fit for Partnership management retraining program held meetings with factory managers and German Chamber of Commerce representatives in Leipzig, Germany.

Since 2016, the program is being implemented by Enterprise Georgia, in partnership with the German Federal        Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and through the support of GIZ. It aims to increase the international trading potential of Georgia’s small and medium-sized Enterprises.

Fit for Partnership provides local manufacturers with an opportunity of export locally produced goods to the European Union without restrictions.

The program participants are learning about:

  • German business management practice and the country’s business culture
  • International business relations and negotiation methods
  • Utilization of contemporary technologies and equipment

They are also granted with opportunities to get in touch with German companies, which supports the development of business relations between Georgian and German private sector representatives.
