As part of World Tourism Day 2023, held in Riyadh, Mikheil Khidureli, the CEO of Enterprise Georgia, had productive meeting with Khalid A. Al-Falih, the Minister of Investment of Saudi Arabia, as well as with prominent Saudi companies and potential investors. During these meetings, he presented Georgia's investment opportunities and its potential to attract investors.
The Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia oversees the country's financial portfolio. The meeting was facilitated by Zurab Pololikashvili, the Secretary-General of UNWTO, who plays a significant role in promoting investment and tourism potential in various countries.
During the discussions, Georgia was highlighted as one of the world's fastest-growing economies, and the parties discussed business development initiatives and the favourable investment and trade environment in the country.
With this, on the sideline of the World Tourism Day event, discussions took place with prominent Saudi Arabian companies, especially in the energy and real estate sectors, who have shown interest towards Georgia’s investment potential. The CEO of Enterprise Georgia emphasized the agency's commitment to maintaining ongoing communication with Saudi Arabian companies in order to enhance the current and future investment potential.
