New York, Chicago and Washington DC were hosts of the three day Georgian Investor road show in USA
According to participants, Prime Minister’s visit to USA was fruitful. The cycle of events, organized by Georgian National Investment Agency and Georgian Embassy in USA, included meeting with top investment funds, biggest banks and companies interested in investing in our region. Alongside government official, meetings were attended by leading Georgian Companies. They had an opportunity to present their investment portfolio and establish direct communication with invited partiers.
Purpose of the roadshow was to showcase Georgia as an attractive investment destination and demonstrate specific projects and initiatives.
Prime Minister made a detailed presentation about Georgia’s investment climate, reforms and vision for the future. Following the presentation he answered questions from audience.
Road Show was organized with contribution from international financial conglomerate CitiGroup and largest American investment bank J.P. Morgan. With their help, organizers were able to reach out to companies and funds that might be looking at investing in Georgia as a way to achieve their strategic goals.
As a result, about 100 potential investors attended the road show and multinationals like BNP Paribas and Royce & Associates expressed interest in investing in Georgia.
