On May 27-29, Georgian delegation from the Georgian National Investment Agency, headed by the director, Mr. Pertaia; the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, headed by the Deputy Minister of Economy Mr. Janelidze, as well as the representatives of The Georgian National Tourism Administration and The National Wine Agency paid a working visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
On May 27, the delegation attended the annual award Ceremony of the Federation of Young Entrepreneurs in the Netherlands HOGIAF. To promote Georgia , as an attractive investment destination, representatives of the Georgian National Investment Agency together with the National Tourism Administration organized Georgian corner offering the guests an opportunity to get more information about Georgia.
On May 28, to celebrate The Independence Day of Georgia, the Embassy of Georgia to The Kingdom of The Netherlands organized the “Georgia Day” at the Hilton Hotel in The Hague, were Geogian National Investment Agency also took part.
Georgian delegation held official meeting with the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Economy, Mr. Chris Buijink. Also the meetings were held with the Director–General for the Foreign Economic Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Simon Smits; Deputy Director General for European Cooperation Mr. Maathijs van der Plas and Deputy Director General for International Cooperation Mr. Cristian Rebergen.
The delegation also met with the Committee for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Dutch Parliament. Among the issues discussed during the meeting were investment opportunities and tourist potential of Georgia.
On May 29, Georgian delegation arranged country presentation in the Chamber of Commerce of Rotterdam, were the head of Georgian National Investment Agency held a presentation about Investment Climate & Opportunities in Georgia. The presentation was attended by Dutch leading companies who are interested to do business in Georgia.
