On May 26, 2011 in order to mark Georgias Independence Day Georgian National Investment Agency and Georgian embassy in India jointly organized the Georgian Wine days in India. With the help of the head of GNIA exports unit three Georgian wine companies participated in the event and had a unique chance to present Georgian wine to a mass audience. Georgian folks group “Chveneburebi” made the event very special with their beautiful singing and a cook offering event guests delicious Georgian dishes. The goal of the festive reception was to promote Georgian culture, cuisine and products. The guests of the event were members of the Indian Government, representatives of local business circles who already work with Georgian partners and are interested in further development of business ties.
On May 27, 2011 Keti Bochorishvili, director of GNIA met representatives of the hotel business in Deli. GNIA made a presentation on current real estate investment opportunities and invited business people to consider the development of tourism infrastructure in Georgia.
