On May 20, 2011, Vera Kobalia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia hosted graduate students of the University of California, Berkeley. The market research done by students on Georgias economy- mainly investment potential- was a discussion issue during the meeting with the minister.
Berkeley graduates also held meetings with the representatives of government and business structures: Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Georgia, Georgian National Investment Agency, Tbilisi City Municipality, Georgian National Tourism Agency, Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and American Chamber of Commerce. Berkeley students are going to spend three weeks in Georgia.
