Opening of the Czech-Georgia Chamber of Commerce

On March 17, 2011, Archil Kekelia the First Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Ia Janashia the Deputy Director of the Georgian National Investment Agency and Nino Nakashidze Ambassador Plenipotentiary of Georgia in Czech Republic attended the opening of the Czech-Georgian Mixed Chamber of Commerce hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.

 

Representatives of sixty Czech companies, banks, government agencies and mass-media attended the official opening of the Chamber of Commerce. Milan Hovorka, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic greeted the invited guests pointing out the importance of economic cooperation between the Czech Republic and Georgia and wishing success to the Czech-Georgian Chamber of Commerce.

 

Archil Kekelia, First Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development made a rather comprehensive presentation about the investment climate and business opportunities in Georgia. Later, a small reception with tasting of Georgian wine and the mineral water "Borjomi" was held.

 

In the framework of the visit to Czech republic First Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia had a meeting with Milan Hovorka the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic in order to discuss the steps for advancing bilateral economic relations between two countries and plan concrete actions for cooperation.
