On November 17, 2010 the US Embassy in Georgia and the American Chamber of Commerce in Georgia held a joint Second American Citizen Information Night at the US Embassy Atrium.
A number of experts of topics important to American citizens residing in Georgia were invited to the event and information was disseminated on consular services, residential requirements, US immigration, etc., as well as information on various useful goods and services. Among participants, there were representatives of the Civil Registry Agency of Georgia, Department of Tourism and the National Investment Agency of Georgia.
The Georgian National Investment Agency representatives provided information on the agency operations, the existing tax regimes, also distributed different promotion materials. GNIA staff members answered numerous questions coming from the US citizens and ensured the proper follow up after the meeting.
