Magticom has over 2 million subscribers served by 1,000 employees and prides itself on having the largest coverage of any operator, some 97% of the country. A large part of our success has come from introducing cutting edge technology and Magticom has consistently led the way in this region as it transformed itself from offering only mobile to offering mobile, fixed and internet services. Our goal is to ensure that every Georgian is constantly connected, wherever he or she is, using the latest technology.
Magticom has continued to grow though the political changes in 2004 and the 2008 Russian invasion and financial crash. A source of great pride is MagtiFix,a fixed line and internet service that was introduced in 2008 and now provides service to one on four of Georgia`s homes. In the same period the company has connected over 1,000 schools and some 600 government offices to the internet. As we continued to aggressively invest in the worst of times we strongly believed that the best of times for Georgia are still to come. We are again seeing economic growth in Georgia and as our COO says: "The future is so bright, we need sunglasses."
