November 26, 2009 in London Government of Georgia held investment promotion Road Show. The Road-Show was organized in cooperation with the Financial Times.

 

Chair was opened remarks by the International Affairs Editor of Financial Times Mr.Quentin peel.The Prime Minister of Georgia, Mr. Nika Gilauri delivered the key-note speech presenting Georgias unique investment opportunities and recent reform initiatives, including the Liberty Act. The road show was directed at delivering to the existing and potential investors how the government is creating further incentives for private companies to invest.

 

The Prime Minister was accompanied by the Ministers of Economic Development, Energy, Health, and Agriculture, who presented investment opportunities in their respective sectors.

 

In addition, the forum audience heard the first-hand experience of successful business projects undertaken in Georgia from HSBC, Rakeen Development, TeliaSonera, etc.

 

This high-level business event was targeted at senior level management of international companies interested in, or already investing in Georgia. This premier thought-leadership event provided networking opportunity with other key decision makers, hear success stories from foreign investors and understand investment strategies in Georgia within the wider economic and political context.
