On the 10th of July 2009, the Georgian National Investment Agency held the reception at the Rustaveli National Theatre.
The event was attended by different government officials, business community, the representatives of accredited diplomatic missions and international organizations.
The guests were given a brief introduction of GNIAs activities and the future plans. The Director of the Georgian National Investment Agency Ms. Nino Baratashvili underlined the main priorities of GNIA: to attract, encourage, promote and facilitate foreign direct investment in Georgia, to lead with principle of “one stop shop” for comprehensive information on investment opportunities in Georgia, to provide assistance and information support to foreign business before, during and after their entry to Georgia, to pay attention and attract investment for individual projects and to cooperate closely with all introduced companies in the country. Mr. Lasha Zhvania, the Minister of the Economic Development of Georgia in his speech supported GNIAs main goals and future plans mentioning the vital role and importance of the organization and called the attended business community to cooperate with GNIA for their private and countrys interests.
