Georgian-Finnish Business Seminar organized by the Georgian National Investment Agency in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland was held on 15-17 June, 2009.
The seminar aimed to present the investment potential of Georgia to representatives of Finnish governmental and private sectors.
The Ambassador of Finland to Georgia H.E. Mr. Petri Salo and the Ambassador of Georgia to Finland H.E. Mr. Amiran Kavadze addressed the participants with welcoming speeches.
Ms. Nino Baratashvili, Director of Georgian National Investment Agency gave a brief speech on investment climate in the country, followed by the presentation by Ms. Elisabed Khabazashvili Marketing and Communications Coordinator.
The First Deputy Minister of Energy of Georgia Ms. Mariam Valishvili, overviewed developments and investment opportunities in the energy sector.
Presentations on countrys tourism, export opportunities and IT & communication fields were made by respective representatives of Georgias Ministry of Economic Development.
The seminar also included presentations by the Finish officials and companies.
