Air traffic between Georgia and United Arab Emirates will now be regulated by the renewd regulations. The negotiations regarding this issue were held in Tbilisi.
According the project agreement air carriers of the both countries will have additional commercial permission to operate passenger and cargo flights to any third country (Dubai-Tbilisi-Paris; Tbilisi-Dubai-Peking) Before the agreement enters into force both sides will be able to give permission to airlines and operate flights. Number of air carriers and flights is not limited.
Presently Tbilisi-Dubai flights are operated by “Georgian Airways” (Airzena); the flights are conducted twice a week.
