Georgian Business development Center Caucasus (GBDC) recently opened its new office in Akhaltsikhe (Samtskhe-Javakheti region) and presented a new regional program that provides consultations to locals seeking to start small or medium businesses. Consultation sessions will be organized by university students and professors who successfully pass training and preparation courses arranged by the GBDC.
The main purpose of this program is to support development of agricultural business and family tourism and also to increase the level of service through involving business-oriented students and professors in this process.
With the establishment of a new GBDC office in Akhaltsikhe, local students will have an opportunity to take part in professional preparation trainings and then get involved in consulting services. The main goal of establishing the new office is also to further develop the local youth, assist them in obtaining jobs and allow them to consult entrepreneurs of Samtskhe-Javakheti on business development matters.
