Georgian Parliament Chairwoman Nino Burjanadze visited South Korea, where she held meetings with South Korean business circles within the framework of her visit.
Nino Burjanadze informed representatives of about 40 South Korean companies on reforms under way in Georgia and, speaking about the Georgian legislation, said that it is oriented on attracting more investments, on protecting them, and on promoting intensive development of business. The parliament chairwoman informed businessmen on the assessments of the world`s most important international financial institutions regarding Georgia.
Building and architecture, tourism, goods turnover and transportation, commerce and infrastructure development, agriculture and the processing industry, and new technologies are the spheres, in which investors and businessmen took an interest. They intend to start intensive cooperation with Georgia in these directions.
