The annual wine festival will be held at the end of October in Sighnagi. Festival attendees will include local and foreign investors. On the festival there will be presented some sorts of wine not only from Kakheti region, but also from other regions of Georgia.
Wine festival coincides with the end of the first step of Sighnagi rehabilitation process. 10 million GEL from the state budget was attributed for the rehabilitation of this town and 28 million GEL from private funds were invested. The whole rehabilitation process is expected to be finished by 2010.
