JSC Gudauri (former JSC Gergeti) announced tender on selection a company, which will manage hotel complex and ropeway in borough Gudauri (Kazbegi district of Mtskheta-Mtianeti region). Applications are received until the end of August.
Term of management contract lasts to March 31, 2008. However, contract may be canceled anytime, after preliminary written notification (no later then 1 week earlier).
As the JSC notes, tender on management has been announced for the first time. Up to present, the mentioned activity was implemented by LLC Gudauri.
The state, which share in JSC Gudauri is 84.2%, intends to bring the company on an auction afresh.
Meantime, rehabilitation works should be carried out by the end of the year. For their funding, as well as for fixed assets purchasing, credit of 6 million EUR was allotted by the Prime Minster resolution (July 5). The credit, allotted under 12% of annual interest, should be covered by the end of year (December 20).
The necessity to finish works before the skiing season conditioned amendments in the mentioned resolution, envisaging the right of JSC Gudauri to hold direct negotiations on procurements (i.e. with single entity).
