TBC Bank to Receive $54M syndicated Credit Through Deutsche Bank

As TBC-Bank informs, agreement on $54 million syndicated credit allotment was signed with Deutsche Bank recently. Funds were attracted with Deutsche Bank's assistance and participation from 14 leading banks of different countries.

The sum will be transferred on Georgian bank account in a few days. Credit use is not restricted.

The Georgian bank notes that the mentioned transaction is the largest syndicated credit, ever received by Georgian banking system, and is the first one, where Deutsche Bank participates. According to the TBC-Bank, foreign resources, attracted for the last 7 months, totaled to $196 million (including the mentioned credit of Deutsche Bank).

Among them, JP Morgan has issued credit of $47 million, Merrill Lynch - $40 million, Netherlands Development Financial Company (FMO) - $20 million (subordinated credit), Credit Suisse - $35 million.

TBC-Bank ranks the second in Georgian banking sector.
