PRS Mediterranean, offering road heavy-duty surfaces, is interested in mastering Georgian market, which was entered this year.
As David Katsitadze, director of PRS Georgia - Georgian partner of the company, noted today at the presentation, the first project was road pavement for military base in Gori. He refused to specify the cost of the project, however.
The company uses Geoweb technology, envisaging using cellular structure, which protects the surface from deformation and extends exploitation terms.
Katsitadze said that geoweb is produced in Israel and price per square m of pavement is 75 GEL, while its material costs $14.
Katsitadze said that PRS Mediterranean Ltd, operating in 56 countries, decided to start operations in Caucasus region from Georgia. He pointed that the country has problems with reinforcement of coastline as well as of roads in avalanche areas.
