Next Auction on Fossil use Brought 639 649 GEL

The Ministry of Environment Protection and Natural Resources informs that sum, received from auction on fossil license, made up 639 649 GEL. Out of 27 participants of auction, which has held today, 25 were revealed as winners.

  

Out of 29 licenses (mainly for detritus mining) auctioned, 27 were sold. Applications were not submitted for Lagodekhi and Zugdidi quarries. License terms range between 5 and 20 years.

 

The largest sum (66 176 GEL) was paid for license on quarrying in Gardabani.

 

The Ministry announced today another auction on fossil use, where 19 licenses (mainly for detritus and basalt mining) will brought with total starting price of 179 105 GEL. License terms range between 2 and 25 years.

 

Applications should be submitted by August 7. The auction is scheduled for August 22.
