Musa Panakhov, the Azerbaijani Transport Minister, said the Kars-Akhalkalaki-Tbilisi-Baku Railway Project Coordinating Council will meet for the first time on July 18-19, reports Day.az news agency.
Council members will consider the funding of the construction of the Georgian section of the railway line in two days. At the meeting, the Georgian delegation will be led by Deputy Georgian Economic Development Minister David Natroshvili.
Azerbaijan will provide 200 m USD in long-term loan for Georgia for the construction and repairs of the Georgian section.
