Standard Bank announced that it opens new branch on Guramishvili Avenue in Tbilisi today. It became the 11th branch in the city. The branch will operate billing-center, which makes available to make utility payments without commission.
Standard Bank holds 18 branches in total, out of which 7 were launched this year (1 in Batumi, others - in Tbilisi). The bank is presented in Kutaisi, Telavi, Marneuli, Dedoplistskaro, Senaki and Tsnori as well.
The bank says that the number of branches will reach 25 by the end of the year (one will be launched in Poti and the rest in Tbilisi).
According to the figures of the 1st quarter of 2007, net profit of the bank made up 937,000 lari, total assets - 116.6 million lari, total liabilities - 101.8 million lari. In terms of mentioned showings, the bank ranks the 8th in Georgian banking sector.
