Sakhalkho Banki (People's Bank) announces that it launches regional branch in Kutaisi today. The branch will manage branches in Imereti and Racha-Lechkhumi regions.
Presently more than 200 branches and service-centers of People's Bank are operating in Georgia. As the bank notes, it is the only banking institution in 50 districts of the country.
The bank has 1.5 million clients. Just to remind, it carries out social allowances and serves 800,000 pensioners and 250,000 internally displaced persons until 2009.
510,000 local and international plastic cards, emitted by People's Bank, are served with its own processing center and more than 150 ATMs.
In the 1st quarter of the current year, People's Bank ranks the 7th in terms of assets and liabilities volume.
Its largest shareholders are presented by Elena Kovalenko (supervisory board member, 24%), LLC Starcord Resources (24%), Irina Jincharadze (head of supervision board, 19%) and Giorgi Goguadze (director general, 6.45%).
