The deputy CEO of Enterprise Georgia attended the EBRD's annual business forum




Tornike Zirakishvili, Deputy CEO of Enterprise Georgia, participated in the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Annual Meeting in Uzbekistan.

During the event, the Deputy CEO was part of the panel discussion on "Integrating Value Chains to Strengthen Trade Capabilities". The panel also included Paolo Monaco, Director of Financial Products - EBRD; Parvaiz Dalal, Global Head of Payables - Citigroup; and representatives from other organizations.

The panel focused on the competitiveness of emerging economies and supply chain integration. Participants discussed topics such as access to finance, logistics, and the importance of standards.
During the discussion, Mr. Zirakishvili highlighted Georgia's financial and export-oriented support initiatives for SMEs, and the importance of logistical connectivity. 

"In order to promote export from the country, we have introduced another mechanism in Georgia, which involves hiring representative companies in different countries around the world, which help Georgian SMEs to export their products to foreign market and establish contacts with buyers." — Tornike Zirakishvili
