The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Natia Turnava and the Director of the Agency "Enterprise Georgia" Mikheil Khidureli visited the packaging materials manufacturer company – Fabrica 1900.
With Enterprise Georgia's Industrial Component support, the company could purchase new machinery and expand, build, and maintain an existing enterprise building. Consequently, the production volume and the number of employees have increased. At this stage, the company employs 134 people.
Fabrica 1900 processes 600 tons of packaging materials per month. The production is biodegradable and recyclable, made from certified raw materials imported mostly from European Mills, and is produced on modern European machinery.
Besides the local market, the products are exported in Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Ukraine.
