With the support of Enterprise Georgia, KARTLI TEXTILE has opened new apparel factory in Rustavi.
“4000 new jobs for residents of Rustavi – this is largest project created with our involvement in 2020” – says CEO of the agency, Mikheil Khidureli.
With the support of Agency’s access to finance program and investment team, the company has purchased state-of-the-art machinery and launch the project, which will allow them to supply highest quality goods to brands like Nike, Adidas, Puma, Lotto, Erima, Under Armour.
Total amount of investment will be GEL 20 mln and at full capacity employee 4,000 individuals, with 90% of them being women.
Kartli Textile is affiliate of “Adjara Textile”, which has been operating in Georgia since 2008 and is one of the biggest exporters. Their existing 3 factories, in Batumi, Poti and Bobokvati, already employees more than 3,500 people. Company produces and export about 15 mln units annually.
