With Enterprise Georgia and USAID's Agriculture program's support, 14 Georgian companies participated in the world's largest annual Food & Beverage trade show - Gulfood2022.
The exhibition is traditionally held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is attended by an average of 92,000 visitors annually. It is one of the largest and most important events in the food and beverage sector. Almost all types of product manufacturers can participate in Gulfood, except for the manufacturers of alcoholic beverages.
The companies were selected based on criteria developed and approved by the agency and its co-financing mechanism. Worth mentioning that Georgia, with the agency's support, participates in this event for the eighth time in a row. Every year, the participating businesses return with positive results, establishing relations with new international partners and exporting the product to various global markets.
The Georgian delegation was present with various products. The companies mainly display nut or fruit products, natural vegetable and fruit juices, lemonade, honey, laurel, dried fruit, and tea goods.
