Finance Ministry informs that 1.5 million GEL is issued from state budget for compensation of damage, inflicted during military operations in west Georgia in 1992-93.
This is the first compensation, issued to inhabitants of west Georgia, who suffered loss during clashes between supporters and enemies of ex-president Zviad Gamsakhurdia. The funds are envisaged for restoration of destroyed and damaged houses.
Within budgetary funding municipality of Samtredia will receive 562 100 GEL, Zugdidi - 309,800 GEL, Senaki - 247 100 GEL, Abasha - 230 100 GEL, Tsalenjikha - 150 000 GEL.
