LLC Georgian Railway informs that ferry rout is to be resumed in June between Russian port of Kavkaz and Georgian port of Poti. Heads of Russian and Georgian railways signed the corresponding document on the CIS Railway Transport Council meeting in Kazakhstan.
The ferry made first trips in 2005, but the link was ceased then.
It should be noted that neither air nor motor routs between Russia and Georgia operate presently.
