As ProCredit Bank informs, ProCredit Holdings has increased recently its share in the bank from 74.9% to 91.42%.

ProCredit Holdings has repurchased stocks from German KfW and International Finance Corporation (IFC), holding 7.36% and 9.16% accordingly.

Consulting company IPC and German Commerzbank has maintained their shares in ProCredit Bank – 7.35% and 1.23% accordingly.

As for the financial highlights, net profit of the bank made up 3.45 million lGEL in the 1st quarter, exceeded 4 times last years same figures. In this term, ProCredit Bank ranks the 3rd in Georgian banking system. The bank ended 2006 year with profit of 7.5 million and ranked the 4th.

Total assets made up 432.9 million GEL, reduced by 0.05% from the beginning of the year, but increased by 19.7% in comparison with last years same figures. Total liabilities made up 359.6 million GEL, decreased by 1.01% from the beginning of the year, but increased by 13.7% in comparison with same figures of 2006. In these terms, the bank ranks the 4th.

ProCredit Bank has 35 branches (17 of them are in Tbilisi) and plans to open 10 new ones this year. Bank has more than 200,000 clients, out of which 20% is corporate.
