The Ministry of Finance and Economics of Ajara autonomy informs that auction, where building of so-called “Big Bank” has to be sold, failed today due to lack of applications. The object has never been operated as a bank.
Privatization tender has been failed for the third time. This time land plot was attached to the building in order to increase interest. The Ministry does not exclude that initial price will be reduced next time.
Just to remind, initial price of the “Big Bank” building on Baratashvili Street in Batumi made up $3.2 million. Construction total area – 1,615 square m, land plot – 1,560 square m.
