MCG announced new competition on Agriculture Production

Millennium Challenge – Georgia (MCG) fund announced new competition on agriculture production within frameworks of agribusiness development project.

Grants will be issued in volumes of $50,000-300,000 GEL, co-funding rate should be no less than $1.5 per each requested $1. Presented projects must envisage creation of no less than 30 job places.

No more than 3 projects will be selected from total submitted. The deadline for applications is July 5.

Projects on tobacco, alcohol and mineral waters production will be not accepted. Projects covering dairying and poultry rising will be rejected too as that spheres were financed during last years competition.

Agribusiness development project is calculated for 4 years and its budget amounts to $15 million. 19 grant contracts with total cost of $636,000 have already been signed, MCG informs.
