The German outsourcing giant Arvato officially opened its new office in Tbilisi. Arvato was brought to Georgian market by the Georgian National Investment Agency (GNIA). At the new 2000 m² office in the city center the company already employs 130 people and is very keen to grow in the upcoming years. A team of over 250 employees is expected to join Arvato in a year from now, and about 500 in two years. The total investment for the site reached 1.5 million Euros. The company is currently promoting employees internally for senior positions using a number of assessment centers in order to assure a transparent and objective selection process. “We feel the local labor market fits our biggest clients’ needs and can therefore achieve, in record time, the good results of other Arvato CRM Solutions around the world. “Georgia is a great market and a wise choice for a company like Arvato,” declared Andreas Krohn, CEO of Arvato CRM Solutions.

Arvato’s Nearshore Development Team started looking at Georgia in August and was impressed by the large number of German speaking people. “Arvato in Georgia is a story about the people we found here, people who show us their enthusiasm with facing new opportunities and prove their support in our efforts to know the market better,” explained Matthias Müller, Director of Arvato Customer Service Estonia & Romania. He said that it didn’t take too much investigation for the company’s board to see Arvato’s next strategic step “and to convince our clients starting another success story together in Tbilisi, the next chapters of that story are still to be written…” added Mr. Müller.

“Arvato entering Georgia is one of the examples how favorable local business environment is, our country occupies 16th place in Doing Business ranking,” stated Ketevan Bochorisgvili, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.

“Arvato opening an office in Tbilisi is welcome news for Georgia. The company has already created 150 jobs and this is very important for our population as employment is one of the main issues for all of us. Georgian government continues carrying out reforms to make local market more and more attractive for foreign companies,” said David Narmania, Mayor of Tbilisi.
