JSC TELASI informs that it will invest 41 million lari in city distributing network upgrade. The company has been carrying out repairs on several substations from the beginning of the year. In 2006, JSC invested in network rehabilitation17 million lari.
The amount of total investments within 3-year investment plan (2006-2008) makes up 75 million lari.
The program envisages three directions – reduction of commercial losses, modernization of main technical systems and equipment, increasing of capacity. The funding will be directed for modernization of high and low voltage substations, transformers and cables.
As JSC mentions, individual meters remain to be installed to only 18,300 subscribers out of 412,000.
JSC TELASI is being held by RAO EES since summer 2003.
